Joey Zedan
Hello, my name is Joey Zedan, and there’s a high probability that I’m the coolest guy you will ever meet. Some say I have a huge ego, but I don’t see it. Anyway, before I digress, let me move on to the important stuff: I’m currently a freshman at Purdue University and I’m majoring in aeronautical engineering. This wonderful website that you see before your very own eyes is part of a final project for my English class, and I designed all of it (yep, you read that right). I also wrote the sections about the World’s Largest Drum, the drum majors, the intro on the home page, and the brief intro in the “Traditions” tab of the archive. Now stop reading this useless page and have fun with the rest of the site. If you have any comments or concerns, please hesitate to contact me. That is all. Enjoy the archive!

I am from Valparaiso, a town in Northwest Indiana. I am a Freshman at Purdue University studying Mechanical Engineering. I have played music for most of my life and my main instrument is the Baritone (Euphonium) though I also play trombone, piano, and a few others. I am currently a member of Purdue’s “All-American” Marching Band so compiling this archive was especially meaningful to me. I interviewed the current director of bands at Purdue University, Jay Gephart, and wrote everything you see on the Now and Beyond page.

I was born in India, and brought up in Indonesia. I am currently a freshmen at Purdue intending to major in Industrial Engineering. I like sports, especially soccer and other adventurous activities as well. I am also really fascinated by architectural and contemporary art. I like reading books once in a while, and I believe music is an all-time stress buster. I love trying different cuisines, traveling, and I am very inquisitive about different cultures. I am very interested in the various traditions that Purdue has and I like exploring them. For this archive, I wrote the sections on the wonderful twirlers such as The Golden Girl, The Girl in Black and The Silver Twins.

Just like everyone else, I am also a freshman at Purdue University (who knew that all the students in freshman english would be freshman??). I am studying Aerospace Engineering and hope to one day work for NASA (in my wildest dreams). I am an avid musician, playing the Guitar all the time, and a fair amount of Cello as well. On top of that I am also an actor, and a self identifying hardcore nerd. I worked on the history portion of this website and also, believe it or not, this very paragraph that you are reading write now! Anyway, this is probably the very last thing you will read on this website, so I hope you enjoyed!
